Never go treasure hunting without a map. The older and more scroll-like the better. You also should bring a foil and fool along to use as the hidden trap’s trigger.

Doesn’t anyone publish a treasure map with the traps marked out? It seems like that would be something a treasure owner would really find quite useful.

If it were posted on the map it wouldn’t be a trap, it would just be a point of information. Traps are unknown until they are tripped. Thus it is a good idea to bring along a trap’s tripper to find the traps.
