It’s hard not to expect another outcome. After all he’s a squirrel (tree rat).

LeSquirrel’s venture into forensics started with a bang! Although, the lingering miasma of chemicals is a little disconcerting.
Another beautifully executed cartoon.
Any progress on the technical issue?
These two have been fun to create… and a really fun sequence is on the drawing board. The issue boils down to the fact that the Cintiq pro 24 doesn’t interface with my 2019/20 iMac 27. It connects thru one of the USB C Thunderbolt port. But it causes the system to crash and it has gotten continuously worse and more frequent. I am afraid to use the pair connected as I can’t afford to lose my iMac that I use for other business ect. So I am needing to determine what to get to connect to my Cintiq 24 and running Adobe Illustrator. I need to get some expertise help. I am planning to visit the local Apple Store to get advice and assistance. I am a longtime Apple Mac user so I would prefer to stay in that world. The weather has gotten crappy this week and I haven’t been able to get over there yet. Next week is scheduled to warm up and that will help. I am open to advice if anyone has solid knowledge. I’ve been using a cintiq /apple setup since 2006 although my current system is 2020 for both the Apple and Wacom Cintiq. That’s where I am at the moment. I love my iMac and use it but the Wacom connection no longer is viable. It’s an interface problem and I don’t know which is the cause or why. So I need help / advice. My first place to start is the local Apple Store. I need a “Genius” 🙂
Hi J.P. any luck with the Apple – Wacom interface issue? Did you find a “Genius” to help you solve the problem??
Yes…and no. Yes, we determined that a Thunderbolt 4 cable might resolve the issue in place of the USB-C cable that came from Wacom. I tried it and it seemed to work well. I did a complete comic start to finish. Three and a half hours over four seasons of doing the drawing, and no problems. Then this morning out of a short session where I was mostly final checking the work and I got a black pair of video screens both Mac and Wacom. Just like before, completely at random… crap! It is really frustrating. But at least Thursday will get a comic while I bang my poor head against the wall. 🙁
