It seems appropriate to have Arthur and Asher close out this “romantic” adventure with their usual tree branch commentary. We hope you’ve enjoyed The Wish Bone and be sure to return on Thursday for the beginning of a brand new Pudding adventure The Bayou Bandit.

Love should always end like a Mardi Gras experience
Highly intoxicated and wearing plastic beaded necklaces ?
Excellent way to end this story J.P.! The commentary leaves me to imagine the bunch of them running into the sunset like in a classic Looney Tunes adventure! Well done! 😀
Thanks Bill, I hope that readers aren’t disappointed that we avoided the more predictable ending with Bo Gator licking his chops after a satisfying meal of critters, but that’s just not our style. It’s more fun to leave the ultimate outcome to each person’s own imagined conclusion.
I like that ending J.P. It leaves the possibility of more Q. Harmony in the future! 🙂
Never fear the rat is here to stay, although as a regular cast member he may be playing a different role in the future. In fact all the characters are playing different roles in the upcoming adventure. It’s a classic parody Merry Old Lake Tuberville style.
Sounds great, I look forward to it!
Arthur and Asher have the best seat in the house watching the looney parade. Good way to end the story line J.P., and the fun part is the characters get to come back.
Thanks David. Yes, according to the comic and cartoon characters union guild: no character shall be permanently harmed mutilated or destroyed in the making of a comic adventure. They also are not subject to governmental abuse or affordable care acts.
What strange bogfellows! Looking forward to your new adventure, J.P.!
Thanks Mark, so am I. That last adventure ran 63 strips over 31 weeks.
Nice ending, J.P.! Can’t wait till Thursday! 🙂
Thanks Chris, me too:)
Great use of characters and exposition, JP. Funny story with a fitting end. I do see them running away like Looney Tunes and Benny Hill. :O)
