Thanksgiving is a great holiday, people stop and spend a moment being thankful for all that they have and then immediately race out to the closest retail store to rip their neighbors hair out as they fight to get all the stuff on sale that they just have to have because they “need” it. So the humorist in me enjoys the irony of it all with my annual salute to the holiday as expressed by the plight of the poor bird.
