Constable Taube, of Scotland Yard, is chosen to inform Chief Inspector LeSquirrel about the prison escape of Professor Snortiarity. LeSquirrel is famous for having a short fuse temper whenever he receives bad news. But in this case, he takes the news and passes the “plate” back to Constable Taube sending him off to inform the great British detectives, Pimlock Blomes and Dr Potson.

It is kind of odd seeing Chester and Dr. Beauregard on the side of law and order.
Nicely drawn and painted comic. I particularly like LeSquirrel’s office. The Scotland Yard picture on the wall is a nice touch. Is that Basil Rathbone in that picture??
Not Basil Rathbone in that poster. Not sure the actor’s name in this poster, well just refer him to as Alexster Smyth-Buttonswatch. Yes, this is a reverse role casting. I suppose that like in a film casting, the director occasionally uses a type casting switch up just for humor effect. Expect some more of those casting switches in this story, but I’m not tipping off anything yet. I drew comic for years and years with minimal settings and backgrounds. Then I switched and went very detailed. Now I just really enjoy slipping all sorts of details almost to an extreme with lots of almost hidden super details just like visual nuts and cherries on the sundae. Hope you enjoy that.;)
