Do plants burp oxygen or carbon dioxide…I can never keep that straight 🙂
Biologically speaking it depends on the source of the excess gas, I suppose. The byproduct of photosynthesis is oxygen but the byproduct of a contrast milkshake is just plain rude.
Let’s get ready to RRUUMMMMBBBBBLLLLEEE! Or better yet, let’s not. As unpleasant as some of it is, these preventitive procedures are a lot better than the alternatives!
Mark, you’re insightful and funny as always. CAT scans are actually pretty ho-hum as far as tests go, the IV of contrast and the milkshakes are the most unpleasant aspects. The really unpleasant stuff is yet to come, but for the moment I’ll forgo talking about them because that would ruin the “fun” coming in the future as the story continues.
