Sometimes even deductions are just good common sense.

(Sniff Sniff) Get your sniffer ready!
Thanks David,
It’s a ill wind that blows no good.
That makes scents!
Another beautiful background and thanks for the the hat shop shout out! 🙂
Thanks Howard,
This is all a part of establishing the mood for the turn of the century adventure. I hope you will enjoy the story as we get a visit from the Ham Hock of Hanover on Thursday.
To quote Gandalf; “When in doubt young Merriweather, always follow your nose!”
Thanks RG,
You can usually trust your nose and sense of smell unless you’re congested, then you think you smell something but it’s snot 🙂
It’s a lead of cheese!
Seriously though, I’m loving that style, it’s gorgeous!
Thanks Dana,
I am having a lot of fun experimenting with trying to achieve a watercolor color style for my backgrounds. I always loved the Depatie Freleng style backgrounds of the 60’s -70’s. From my own animation background, I still have some Acme punched watercolor paper background rolls that I use for practice work. Talk about an anachronism. The comic work is all digital but I plan to try to slip a few actual watercolor painting in before this adventure completes. I have use hand painted watercolor trees in previous Pudding adventure backgrounds. 🙂
Cheese on the breeze! Love the wonderful landscapes and Gorr told me to tell you he loves your shout out!
Thanks Mark,
Blomes has his own pet that will show up later in the story.
