Look, up in the sky, it’s a…
Pretty soon Skratch will start to collect ” Frequent Fryer” miles (ouch!)
Glad they escaped from Inky-pus! But where will they land..?
Hopefully on the same island as the other critters or we may never get to finding the treasure 🙂
Looks like Skratch’s underwater fling is flung! I gotta hand it to you J.P., when I read this strip it’s like I’m hearing a music and sound effects track. I just can’t read your stuff without hearing that in my imagination. A real accomplishment!
Thanks Mark, that’s an amazing compliment. I first and foremost try to tell a coherent “believable” story that’s situation driven. I also try to have some level of humor in each strip. I try to draw the comic as if we are all just watching it happen, so if that translates into a feeling of more than just a series of panel pictures, then how I view it in my head is actually making it to the page. Hearing it from someone like yourself is very special 🙂
I agree fully with Mark. These always seem like the Saturday morning cartoons I watched as a kid many decades ago. Love ’em. <3
Jande, when a cartoonist gets such wonderful feedback it serves to fuel their engine of creativity. My gas tank is topped off for the week. I think I just admitted to being full of gas -lol-
