He’s a raccoon and his role in the story is as a member of the “First Nations” of Canada. So, he naturally is a good hunter tracker. Also in storytelling, he his a good mover of the narrative. He also seems to like to play in the dirt. 🙂
I remember learning about vacuum tubes when I did my electrical training in the Navy back in 1978. Don’t remember much about them now & haven’t seen one in a long long time
