Do they still make traveler’s checks?
They were all the rage back in the 12th century. Gold and jewels were so inconvenient to carry on long trips. Trains of ox drawn carts loaded with booty is so pretentious and attracts road agents and bandits too. 🙂

Yeah, right, it’s a brilliant idea to convert all your gold and jewels into a virtual currency that can be electronically managed and which most of the world doesn’t recognize as having any actual value. Who needs to worry about bandits when you can rob yourself.
