Getting more than one opinion is a smart idea. Sooner or later the growth or the lump or whatever has to be removed and examined, unless it really is just a pimple.

A tree surgeon is a good idea. Sadly not all problems can be solved by eating less chocolate
I often think that eating more chocolate is a better solution to stress, it may not really help but it sure makes you smile.
