Archibald is a classic comic foil or fool as the case may be. He is always there when we need someone to get the sloppy end of the stick.

Hope is not a part of his vocabulary. Archie is a realist. He has learned from painful past experience, that some critters just naturally are destined for falling anvils and sudden long drops off of cliffs.
