I love the shell at the end of the bed. Love is species blind!
Bentley and Splunker are best buds, both guy critters and to the best of my knowledge not romantically involved. The shell at the foot of the bed was Sara’s addition as she figured readers would want to know that Bentley didn’t take his shell to bed. Also it is pretty funny.
