Professor Snortiarity definitely knows how to jerk Inspector LeSquirrel’s leash.

Is Inspector LeSquirrel visualizing or hallucinating? On a different topic, what an outstanding first panel and wonderful piece of art!
Thanks Howard,
The first panel is just to shift the scene and set a mood and it works for those storytelling purposes. I will admit that my watercolor painting work has influenced my approach to backgrounds. LeSquirrel is just acting in character 🙂
Pork Bottom’s need for attention is definitely going to be his downfall…
Thanks RG,
I have to admit that poking a bear (or squirrel) is usually a dumb course of action. But Snort is a smart pig, if that is a possibility, so done second guess him yet.
Talk about ruffling his tail hairs! What a wonderful first panel, J.P., you do such a great job setting the tone of this strip! I’m enjoying every frame!
Thanks Mark,
I have really begun to enjoy the additional value in the storytelling provided by the backgrounds.
