Something smells like wet chicken feathers this mornin’. “Rock On!” Scratch.
The fact that you can smell his feathers under water is almost as remarkable as the fact that Skratch can breath down there. Fortunately we are under the rules of cartoon biology and that means breathing is as optional as thinking in general.
Chicken in the sea not natural
Chicken OF the sea…yum.
I have a feeling that you are not the only one that finds chicken a tasty treat although I thought bears preferred fish.
Under cartoon rules, breathing underwater is only optional until the moment of perception that one is breathing under water. At that moment of realisation that we are breathing under water, we will no longer be able to breathe under water.
Still waiting for Scratch to realise this fact AND that he has effectively hit “rock bottom”. Thanks for the great cartoon JP. :`D
Skratch is a bit slow, at this point he has just figured out that he has gotten wet. Rockford, on the other hand, is clearly aware that fish always spit out rocks that they accidentally swallow. The same can’t be said for chicken parts.
The sea is deep, the chicken down.
But he has miles to go before he drowns!
Thanks Mark,
It’s not easy being a chicken. The only bird that gets less respect is a pigeon. Nobody wants pigeon eggs with their bacon.
