That is a nice synopsis of the story so far and formidable looking doomsday device. Have they checked the freshness dating on the doomsday device? After 73 years, it might have expired.

Hopefully, unless it is a sauerkraut fueled nuclear reactor they should be OK. But only time and a bunch of additional comic strips will tell.
Thanks for the recap JP. So I guess without the speed of Muhammad Ali the master switch makes arming the WMD a suicide mission. Maybe use an old fashioned gunpowder fuse from a very long way away
