I suspect that Bentley and Splunker need to turn the fire down just a bit on Monroe’s boiling campaign tea pot before someone gets burned. The critters have cranked up Monroe to a fever pitch and I predict he’ll be stripping off that shell and punching out Bucksnort before this election is over.

The voters of Lake Tuberville are going to have a choice on election day. They can re-elect old Bucksnort T. Shyster the crookedest politician in Georgia, or a fresh clean honest candidate who occasionally frolics in a fur suit. It’s a clear choice between a crook and a schnook.

It is often said that politics is like war. It seems that Monroe is old enough to remember his Confederate history. After all, he is a Southern born turtle from Lake Tuberville Georgia.  When political ideas get in direct conflict, it isn’t beyond imagination that some fur might fly. So based on Monroe’s wisdom and age, we are reminded that today’s political acrimony is really tame in perspective.
