I use to love peanut butter and banana sandwiches when I was little. They actually served them in our elementary school cafeteria for lunch. What really made them extra good was that they sprinkled extra chopped nuts on top of the peanut butter. I suppose that was not a usual lunch item in most schools, but having grown up in the South, we often had some really simple down home style food as kids.
