We have established two important facts (1) Bentley has a temper and (2) Bentley has arms. Who knew? The real question now is “will Bentley join Monroe in being without his shell and thus homeless?” For Renato’s sake we need to hope Bentley isn’t going to make a habit of smacking the crap out of him. Great to hear from you and I’m really glad that you like the strip. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your “namesake” ( Renato, a lizard ) will continue to be a major player in our story. The bad news is that once a snail gets the taste for pounding a lizard they can become relentless. Stick around.

Much appreciated, I’m beginning to get a better feel for how I want the strips to proceed. The animator in me wants to let fly with the visual action and slapstick while the satirist in me wants to have verbal fun. One of the nice things about doing work for web publication is that I have a lot of freedom to explore both sides and hopefully I will.
