No biology lessons here, but earthworms are complex when it comes to issues of male and female. Also, knowing which way is forward is up for debate most of the time. I have my doubts if this trio could find a dry place on a rainy day.

I feel the same way about salmon.
But I thought Bears loved salmon. They wade out in the streams and catch them as the race by on their way to spawn. Which is of course another example of how the females keep making fools of the males even when it comes to fish.
Do worms have noses to stick into other people’s business?
Bo, as always you ask such good questions. There is much that I can’t explain about these critters whose lives I chronicle. I suppose that we all just have to accept the fact that cartoon critters not only can ignore the laws of physics but also the laws of biology and nature. Fortunately they don’t live in Washington D.C. where those critters ignore simple logic and good sense.
Well, I guess we know where Splunker stands on the same-sex marriage controversy. š
Ouch, earthworm politics are so dirty. They are always digging up stuff on each other. Splunker takes many positions but none of them would be qualified as a firm stand. He’s much more of a contortionist. And he never takes sides because he’s directionally challenged.
