Rockford, the hunk of stone who lives in a back pack, is putting on the Claus for the holidays and he has enlisted Bentley, Splunker and Monroe as his reindeer. Here’s hoping that you all have a Happy Holiday season.
Special Note: Meeting consistent regular publishing deadlines is something I take very seriously. Sometimes unexpected events happen. For example, my production computer, which I use to create BugPudding, has gone on the fritz and requires technical rescue and repair. My buffer of comic strips that follow the current Pulp Pudding story line are being held hostage on that computer along with my usual comic production software. So, I’m staying on schedule by publishing a series of four special holiday themed comics and I even had to revert to old school comic production methods drawing and coloring these comics on bristol board with pen and ink and markers. Neither rain nor snow nor a dead PRAM battery on a Mac delays the delivery of your twice weekly Pudding fix.

Your dedication to your craft is admirable…. and the comic looks great. If all my stuff crashes I think I would just quit. I do keep my stuff pretty much backed up on one of those Seagate portable hard drives though.
Thanks Bo,
I normally have back-ups on top of backups, but I wasn’t thinking and I was moving furniture in the studio, so I unplugged my Mac and the internal PRAM battery died; it won’t re-start. Trying to get a repair done during the holiday madness is going to just be slow. I have other machines in the studio but none have my usual production software loaded on them. This comic was done old school on actual bristol board. Thursday’s comic is done in Manga Studio which is software I have never used before, but I’m learning as I go.
And you didn’t miss a beat. Happy Holidays, old friend.
