At ease disease, there’s a fungus among us. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do. I had a hard time resisting jumping on those straight lines like “Where does a turtle find a fur suit in a dungeon?” And the one from Fatz about “pretending to be a giant walnut”. Monroe seems ready to face the squirrels in his Fungus Suit. We will all just have to come back next Tuesday to see their reactions.
There isn’t much entertainment in a dungeon, so Monroe’s arrival and subsequent decision to disguise himself as a squirrel to fool the guards and get the key to the cells has become the big topic for discussion among the prisoners. An old friend has joined into the turtle ribbing, Rocky the pugilistic butterfly. Poor Rocky has taken one too many shots to the head with a turkey drumstick so he’s never quite sure what to do when someone yells “duck”. See you again on Thursday for some fur suit fun.
It looks like Halloween is coming really early this year, with Monroe planning to dress-up as a squirrel. I realize that the tree rats are not the sharpest pencils in the box, but I don’t think they are going to be fooled easily. But we will all have to wait until next Tuesday to find out more about this brilliant plan.
