What goes up, must come down. Fortunately, Rockford spent some of his youth with a travelling circus. But then that is definitely another story. It appears that he’s back in his bag and planning to hang around.
I often use background trees in BugPudding that are created digitally. I draw and paint them directly on the computer usually in Photoshop or Sketchbook Pro. Here are a few examples from previous strips.
But I also enjoy painting backgrounds and trees in particular using watercolors on paper and then just scanning them into the computer to use in the comic. Here are a couple of examples that you can expect to see in some future strips.
Bentley is one of those characters who represent the “every-man”. He’s just the personification of a good hearted person who just wants to help his neighbors. Consequently Bentley gets involved in some pretty crazy situations. 
But every good story needs a kind hearted soul with whom we all can relate and commiserate. Bentley is Lake Tuberville’s resident schmo.
